Our story began with a team that cared less about being perfect and more about making every guest happy.
Every day brought new challenges.
How could we make our guests enjoy themselves?
How could we make them smile?
Those questions became the foundation of Shake Tree and continue to guide us today.
Even in severe weather, guests still came to visit us.
We wanted to make sure that everyone who walked through our doors had the best possible time.
We joked around by pretending to report live from the typhoon, laughed together with our guests, and did everything we could to make the day enjoyable.
After closing, our team continued working late into the night.
The smiles of our guests and the dedication of our team that day remain at the heart of Shake Tree.
We wanted to create a place where we could stay close to our guests and give personal attention to every individual.
That idea led to the opening of our second location, Shake Tree Diner.
Together as a team, we developed new systems and ways of working while continually asking ourselves:

Shake Tree Diner brought to life many ideas that could not be realized at Shake Tree Burger & Bar.
For us, it marked the beginning of a new challenge.
Shake Tree Diner was designed around a world that blends Japanese tradition with classic American diner culture.
We wanted to create more than a place to eat.
We wanted guests to enjoy the time they spent there.
That idea can be found in every detail of the interior and decoration.

On July 31, 2026, Shake Tree Diner will reach an important milestone in its journey.
The experiences, values, and relationships created there will continue to live on in the future of Shake Tree.
This is not an ending.
It is a new beginning and a step toward new possibilities.
Toward new team members.
New guests.
And places we have yet to discover.
One day, we hope to share the hospitality and joyful experiences that Shake Tree has always valued with even more people beyond Japan.
