Today, we have an important announcement to share with you all.
“Shake Tree Diner,” which has been loved by so many of you, has been the subject of careful consideration regarding our future vision following the expiration of our lease.
As a result, we have decided not to renew the lease and will be closing our doors on July 31, 2026.
We realize this announcement comes suddenly and may have taken many of you by surprise. We did seriously consider relocating. However, rather than waiting for the right opportunity to find a place where we could wholeheartedly say, “This is where we want to be,” we have decided to draw a clear line under this chapter and move on to the next stage.
Pause, and take the next step
Thanks to the support and kindness of our employees, part-time staff, customers, vendors, and families—so many people—we have been able to continue taking on new challenges up to this point.
We sincerely apologize for failing to meet the expectations of everyone who has been looking forward to Shake Tree Diner.
At this turning point, we intend to pause for a moment and reflect on the path we have walked so far.
“What kind of footprints have we left behind?”
We believe that taking stock of this is an essential step in preparing for our next chapter and delivering even greater value to all of you.
In fact, we are already embarking on a new challenge.
This “pausing point” is a decision we have made to take our next step with even greater strength.
May “Shake Tree Diner” always be a part of you！
I am truly grateful for the experiences I’ve had here.
I want to cherish every moment—moments that can only be found here—right until the very end.
And even after the restaurant closes, I hope that the memory of Shake Tree Diner will remain close to your hearts.
To give shape to that sentiment, we will begin selling original coasters in a limited-edition color commemorating Shake Tree Diner’s closing starting April 1.
“We hope Shake Tree Diner will always be with you.” We hope these coasters will serve as a lasting connection between you and us.

We have only a short time left until the end of July, but we’ll continue to serve up the best dishes and smiles right until the very end.
